EUCHARISTIC SALVATION

Our pilgrimage is a journey

To find the Eternal Kingdom

Within and among ourselves;

As we work and we try

To love and to have our own;

This conflict was sown many years ago,

When a lesser good was seen

And desired and chosen;

Now it remains a constant struggle

With those lesser instincts

To which we are prone.

 

So a new Adam became necessary:

A first born; A Christ;

To resolve this sorry mess;

To give each man and woman a reason

To realize the need to repent and confess

That good is only found in the Father

And that only in the Father’s will

Can we count ourselves truly blessed.

 

A cross by anyone’s calculations;

We are all witnesses to that bloody travesty

Which when seen from

A personal conversion perspective

Is realized as a sacrifice for me:

To show the Way back to the garden;

To teach the Truth that wants to set us free;

To keep us in the Life that was meant for us

To feed upon the God-man’s blood and body.
