PILGRIM PROGRESS
I pray for you,
I pray for me,
I pray for all of us
Now;
That perhaps we might be spared
The dread of living somehow.
Together, we must praise eternity
Each moment without end;
And all our assets, handicaps and
Weaknesses together blend.
Suffering results from
Our blind selfish failure
To pray;
In losing you and our and us
To me and it and they;
So we must each find
Our own prayer
To think and do and say
To help us wandering pilgrims
As we plod our way each day.
Our Father, seems to fit that bill
Thy will, please, come what may.
